Whistle-Blowers are almost always frowned upon. No group likes snitches, whether you operate in the underworld or you throw your co-workers under the bus. But whistle-blowers are not always active participants. Many times they are witnesses placed in the situation by fate at pivotal points in history.
Donald J Trump has managed to avoid all the shots lobbed at him as Commander-In-Chief. From the bully pulpit he has immersed himself in the full rollback of everything Obama. He has fouhgt and failed for his precious wall. He has abandoned cronies and former advisers to prison. His succession of lies and boorish behavior has diminished the global esteem of the United States from the outset of his term.
Shit has hit the proverbial fan, and a whitle-blower, believed to be a CIA asset assigned to the White House, and informed by people within the Trump Administration with intimate first-hand knowledge, has chosen his country and his civic duty over any chain of command and has lobbied a complaint concerning the actions of Trump over the last few months.
While Trump’s main antagonist, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has shown a determined resolve in the face of such madness, she hadn’t called for impeachment. Until now. A recently declassified whistle-blower complaint contains shocking allegations concerning Trump. In exchange for the promise of military aid to the Ukraine, Trump sought an investigation against Joe Biden, the former Vice President and Trump’s chief rival in the 2020 election (at least at the time of the incident).
Below is an audio of the complaint. Hear for yourself and judge whether or not you feel this was the high crime and/or misdemeanor necessary for articles of impeachment to move forward. It seems inevitable in the House of Representatives. The Senate, however is still majority Republican. Will they play partisan politics or choose the interests of the Republic? Will Trump resign a la Nixon or fight it out on the way to re-election?
