Doing a little inbox spring (summer) cleaning and ran across this number by Poetik Force, The Now. Gave the song a listen and it’s actually very solid. Well produced (courtesy of Cosmic Buddha), the song has on of those positive 90’s vibes to it. I’ve never heard of these guys before but they didn’t make me cringe. The song is clean and smooth, full of melody, and absent of stuff you don’t want your young kids to hear. The overall vibe is peace.

Cosmic Buddha’s production is mellow and calm with atmospherics that can put you to sleep but in a good way. It’s the type of rhythm you hear in the background of a hookah bar and go, “Who is that?” It doesn’t rock you, but it’s the kind of production that can be placed in many different settings and still be successful. Give these guys a listen. This was enough to make me check them out in the future. Until then, I’ll bump The Now a few more times. Peace.
