A good beat can make any song sound good and producers like Ski Beatz can almost pour water on shit and make pancakes. When it’s not shit? You have the makings of solid material. Rapper 20 Grand Pikaso, aside from having a name that’s too long, is actually a passable emcee. Together, 20 Grand and Ski deliver on the track “Smoking On The Shit! Again.”
That classic Ski Beatz sound is in full effect with enough knock for the streets and enough melody for the music lovers. 20 Grand Pikaso isn’t a flashy emcee or possessed of superior skill, but he can carry the rhyme and keep you involved as a listener. He has a certain panache that gets you through the 1001st weed song. Smoking weed in front of the projects holding two objects. Nothing ambitious about it…but it knocks.
Take a listen (or a look as it were). Ski does his thing and 20 Grand Pikaso doesn’t do anything to screw it up. It knocks.
