Global music and media’s World Hip Hop Market & public relations/social media firm THE BLOOM EFFECT along with Nomadic Wax have joined forces to co-produce this year’s 2nd ever International Stage at A3C Hip-Hop Festival, Planet Hip-Hop. The event will unite the talents of a creative and diverse group of lyricists from Singapore, Panama, Cape Verde, Holland, UK, Barbados and Mexico.  The event takes place at Masquerade.(www.masqueradeatlanta.com, 695 N. Avenue Northeast) on Friday, October 12th-The production will begin at 7PM and ends at 10PM.

A3C Hip Hop Festival takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 11th -13th and is the largest Hip Hop Festival in the Southeast and on the rise to being internationally known. In addition to live music performances, A3C also features breakdance, graphic art, fashion, film, producer showcases, pro audio demonstrations and music industry panels. The event has become a central gathering location for Hip Hop fans as well as emcees, DJs, producers and anyone else looking to advance their careers within the music industry.

Now in its 8th year, 2012 is shaping up to be their biggest and best ever!

Since 2005, the event has featured over 500 of the most influential artists in Hip Hop including: 9th Wonder, B.o.B, Black Sheep, Camp Lo, The Clipse, Curren$y, DJ Premier, Jean Grae, J. Cole, The Juice Crew, Killer Mike,Little Brother, Murs, Rakim, Yelawolf, Rhymefest, Souls of Mischief, Wale, Pill, Lyrics Born and Artifacts, to name a few.

“A3C is a perfect place for a global Hip-Hop event like this,” said The Bloom Effect CEO, Fiona Bloom. “An event that unites emcees from a variety of backgrounds, countries and nationalities is exactly the kind of event that we want to be promoting at a festival like A3C. We talked about this for a few years and now it’s finally being realized.  As big as the movement’s growing – one International Hip Hop showcase doesn’t really give it the attention it deserves but we promise to deliver a night of historic measures.”

“We are in a time of discovery, where people in the USA are waking up to Hip-Hop’s global influence. These artists are not just a copy of American emcees, but true artists who do Hip-Hop in a unique way to them and their home countries.” – Greg Schick, founder World Hip-Hop Market.

“We’re very excited to continue the growth in an International Stage this year at A3C.  We saw Atlanta embrace it last year in the beginning and we’re happy to see this a fixture in our Festival moving forward,” noted  A3C Artistic Director, Mike Walbert.

This year’s event will feature a handful of rising global stars including Kevin Lester (Singapore), Chachi (Cape Verde), Teff  (Barbados),  BocaFloja (Mexico), and as part of an exchange with New Skool Rules from Holland we will feature 3 of their finalists – Dr. Rum (Holland),  GTee (UK), and the only female MC Raverty(Holland).  The amazing Panamian act Los Rakas will headline/close out the night.   DJ 4th Wurld will be on the decks and the event will be hosted by local personality Fort Knox.
