This week on IllSide radio we bring you an action packed show from a busy week in the world of Hip-Hop. First stop was the aftermath of the NBA All Star game held in Orlando under the specter of Dwight Howard’s impending departure. We saw a weak ass Dunk Contest, a defenseless Rising Stars game, Mary J flub the National Anthem, and then the game with a broken-nosed Kobe passing Jordan on the All Time scoring list.Limp Bizkit signed to Cash Money and Square One quoted Fred Durst lyrics that I could not have cared less about.
Ja Rule ain’t exactly living it up in amazing jail, but he did release an album, the sequel to one of his best works, Pain Is Love. Square One talks about the album. Touting it as surprisingly good.
Last but not least we discuss DMX’s recent Breakfast Show interview. We wonder why he has so much hate for other rappers and why the normally aggressive team that made Lil Mama cry didn’t have the guts to go after a known crackhead.
