Good review, but I must slightly nitpick. First, this is Ross’ FOURTH LP (Port of Miami, Trilla, Deeper Than Rap, Teflon Don). Also, B.M.F & MC Hammer do sound almost exactly the same which is scary when you think about it.
Personally, it’s a 3.5. Highly repetitive album to me.
upon listening to the album a few times = im not critiquing what hes saying im just admiring the musicology .. he has no real story therefore he will never be a biggie or a pac or a jay-z .. and isnt honest with himself enough where he could be looked upon as an equal with his faults like wayne or eminem .. or completely normal yet talented liek drake — hes a complete fabrication with nothing people at ground level can latch onto or connect with other than a false reality .
the hook on track 11 is unbareably bad….skip it its that shit …. and BMF & MC hammer next to each other sound to similar . i have to people are definately over reacting on his buzz as an artist .. he makes good rap music with even better beats .. thats it.
he did 11 tracks so the splits are better on the album $ return in the backend
