Good evening and welcome to The Manic Monday Week in review, pushed from Sunday this week by every man’s favorite shakedown holiday. Last week we exhaled a bit from the hard charging pace we’ve been keeping for the past few weeks but still managed to deliver a full week’s worth of treats.
We opened with a Black History celebration of the late great Bob Marley. From there we took it to sports with coverage of the Hopkins/Jones Jr. press conference live from the Hard Rock Café. Joell Ortiz and Novel dropped a new mixtape Defying The Predictable while Tanya Morgan MC Donwill hit us with a concept album Don Cusack In High Fidelity.
Lupe Fiasco sprung a LASER leak and spilled something a bit more…R&Bish than one would expect. A Negro and A Keyboard tackled the Tea Party in his weekly You Wild segment. Shelz continued her weekly moments in freestyle with And The Beat Goes On… while Malice Intended reviewed the 44 Inch Chest, which examines what a mobster would do if he caught his wife cheating.
Despite her city being buried by a blizzard, DJ Fusion delivered her weekly editions of the Fusebox Radio broadcast and Indiesent Exposure featuring Graph Nobel. Malice returned with a review of The Wolfman. We reviewed Freeway & Jake One’s The Stimulus Package and got a short video interview with them as well.
To close out, we gave you the ups and downs of Valentine’s Day and delivered the Out of Bounds: Week In Sports by the Rowdy One.
That was our week in review. Now, on to the music.
