Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius: WZRD Album Snippets

I’m a hard-rocking, head-banging kind of girl.  In my rock moments of zen, I’ve banged my head on everything from doorways to my own knee.  I almost knocked myself out with that one.  Who knew knees were so sturdy?  But anyway, Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius have gone rock-n-roll for their project WZRD and the snippets have arrived.

Its mot that far fetched and I’m not mad at them. Think about it. How many of Cudi’s songs have been traditional Hip-Hop?  Very few.  Instead of rapping though, its sounds like hes going to belt out the tracks.

I’m not loving it, but I’ll reserve judgement until I hear the album in its entirety.  Lulu taught me to bite my tongue until I have the whole project at my disposal.  Thanks Metallica.  I guess something good did come out of that album.

So check the video and tell us what you think.  The track list is below if you want to keep up.  WZRD.  Enjoy.

1. The Arrival
2. High Off Life
3. The Dream Time Machine
4. Love Hard
5. Live & Learn
6. Brake
7. Teleport 2 Me, Jamie feat. Desire
8. Where Did You Sleep Last Night
9. Efflictim
10. The Upper Room
