Prince Fox took most of the 2018 calendar year off, but he is back in full force with the whimsically melancholy EDM knocker, Five Months Later.
It isn’t often that you hear an emotionally melancholy EDM song, but Prince Fox manages just that. As always the grove knocks and his brand of hard-bottomed pop music delivers here in grand fashion.
The track, co-written by Max Schneider and Liam O’Donnell finds Fox in the aftermath of a breakup, lamenting the presence of his former paramour’s things and their lingering scent on his sheets.
Break-ups suck and the emotional tumult that remains after the fracture can leave you sick. Dude is in a bad way, trolling his ex’s block to see if their home. Five Months Later, and fucking away the pain with randoms “just won’t do.” Lucky for us, the track knocks.
