With so much drama in the world today in our communities on both macro and micro levels, it’s always strange to see the news or people who claim to be journalists talking about all kinds of silly things and never what’s going on. The Firing Squad is here to take aim at all that is wrong with the world, starting with our own communities. Three men of color with no censor and no objectives but truth, justice and common sense. Each episode will deal with hot-button issues with honesty, straight talk, and humor whenever possible . No personality is untouchable, and no one is spared the venom, or the praise whenever fit.

This week we take a look at the thorough handling that POTUS got from Mitt Romney. All bias aside, The Pres got dragged. Is there anything he can do to come back from that? Is Obama too worried about being the angry negro? Does he lack the ability to toot his own horn?

From there we look at the savages from last week’s BET Award shows in Atlanta.  Did Gunplay catch a loss from the G Unit boot stomp, or did the Unit catch an L because Gunplay walked away? Rick Ross vs. Jeezy: who gives a fuck about a fat dude slapfest? Do they all catch a loss from causing less damage than Breezy v Drizzy? Was that Rick Ross line from “Rich Forever” necessitate a swing on sight response from Young Jeezy?

What is wrong with 50 Cent? Should he back off? Should he grow up? Has he not realized that the hood has passed him by? Why is he shitting on Lloyd Banks and hanging out with Manny Pacquiao?

Is the 99 Cent store the king of hood shopping?

What nut (pause) rules the hood? Pecan, walnuts? Pistaccios?
