French ain’t the best rapper but he’s got a knack for pulling  a Udonis Haslem every once in a while on a track and filling in just what the track is missing. One thing he does have, aside from heart, is connections and those come into play on the latest strip club anthem, “Pop That,” featuring Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne.

This shit roars out the gate wih a riotous Uncle Luke vocal sample from “Pop That Pussy.” French handles himself well, staying on beat and injecting enough flavor to survive the beat.

Ross comes through smooth on cruise control, altering his flow a couple tiems, shouting out Uncle Luke and the 2 Live Crew. Bauce serves as a placeholder for the Young Money leg of the track.

Drizzy goes ham on the track spazzign out with a rapid-fire flow and that patented young successful arrogance that makes you want to either hate on him or slap him five and say go get if young dude. Whatever side of the fence you straddle, respond accordingly.Drake is fuckign nice.

Lil Wayne is arguably the best cleanup of his generation and this track just adds to the legacy of songs like “We Taking Over.” there are more lines in his verse than a 80’s Hollywood afterparty and Weezy delivers with force. It hans’t been the best few weeks for YMCMB with all the Exodusing going on, but here in hteir element, away from the warzone and on that ass, they snap off. Skrippas clap your ass if you love Hip-Hop. If you can’t clap, then “Pop That.” Enjoy.
