iTech: The Satechi Divoom

By Odeisel

Even with the departure of the late great hustler emeritus Steve Jobs and the introduction of viruses to Macdom, it’s still a very Apple world when it comes to digital music, iPod/Pad/Phones are still at the vanguard of portable sound. As such there are always a myriad of accessories to facilitate your experience with these projects. Tech company Satechi creates an abundance of gear whose sole purpose is to help you blast your beats from those iOS products. Their latest item, the Divoom docking station is a compact, stylish solution that should free you from headphone prison when you’re ricking to digital music and don’t want to be tethered to your phone or laptop.

The Divoom features a round, lightweight (20.6 oz.) speaker that features vertical support for your device that secures your device in place while maintaining an aesthetic fitting for both home and office with its sleek, black exterior. For iOS devices, it also functions as a charging station so you can keep jamming when it’s time to hit the streets. If you’re not an Apple apostle, fret not, the device supports most other devices via the 3.5mm line-in jack. The device retails for $44.99 and can be purchased at the company site HERE.
