I know there are plenty of music writers who don’t care for mining music out of Twitter, but every once in a while I randomly click on stuff just because it’s there. Maybe it’s some involuntary muscle reaction or a nervous twitch, who knows. Today I ended up on Stefan Daniel Bell’s website listening to a song called “Future Love.”
It’s this kind of disjointed industrial electronic piece with some live instrumentation and vocal layers on top. A little busy in sections, yes, but whose love doesn’t have bouts of anxiety. All seems to end well as the song’s active pace slows allowing the strings to take center stage. Maybe that’s Mr. Bell exhaling. Word to Whitney.
“Future Love” is years old, but is being offered right now as a free download. Anyway, here you go. Enjoy.
