Presented by Reebok, legendary Hip Hop photographer, Jonathan Mannion, debuted his “Classic” photography gallery exhibit at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. Alongside the legendary photographer, many of Hip-Hop’s elite, including Swizz Beats, DJ Quik, Big Daddy Kane, and new comer Dom Kennedy, made appearances to support the gallery opening.
The highlight of the evening was Big Daddy Kane performing some of his biggest hits in front of a hyped crowd. While Big Daddy Kane was performing, Jonathan Mannion was tossing t-shirts to the crowd featuring photos from his highly acclaimed gallery.
Once the performance of Big Daddy Kane ended, DJ Quick with camera crew in tow, shared the experience of his photo shoot with Jonathan and how Jonathan’s art inspired him and other artists.
While DJ Quick was guiding the camera crew, you saw the amazing gallery of photos from top Hip hop artists like Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Big Daddy Kane, Mos Def, Lauryn Hill, and many more. Below are a few exclusives from the event.
On to the next one, Citizens.
