It’s been an interesting few months for Waka Flocka Flame. PETA promotions have endeared him to mass media while his infectious energy has warmed over the icy hearts of many critics that initially dismissed him as the did his comrade the Juiceman. But as Barry White would put it, Flock has “staying power” and was strong enough an artist to withstand the early criticism.
Then there were the bad times, such as the murder of Bricksquad affiliate Slim Dunkin a few weeks ago that forced the crew toembolden themselves and take advantage of the now, rather than bet on an unpromised tomorrow.
Flocka has kept moving with a new album on the way entitled Triple F Life: Friends Fans & Family, the first single of which is “Round of Applause.” The video, which features Draya from the L.A. Version of Black women kryptonite Basketball Wives, was shot in Atlanta and in Los Angeles in two segments and is directed by Mr. Boomtown
