The National: Rylan

It seems The National are a busy group these days. In between studio sessions with Phish frontman Trey Anastasio (according to Spin, they are contributing to his new album) they are writing new material, some of which a lucky group of fans got to sample live recently.

The crew stopped through Q LIVE to perform a bit from High Violet and they also premiered two new songs. The first, “Rylan,” fits right in line with the mellow, High Violet signature. The pacing here though sounds a little country-ish. Not my favorite, but I can live with it. Anyway, here you go.
