Donatella Versace Is Not Down With Real Women… Allegedly
According to The New York Daily News (yes, I know), Donatella Versace 86ed a photo shoot with her new H&M line being modeled by non-models because Versace doesn’t feel “real women” fit her branding. Wow. Then I’d suggest she stops making clothes larger than sample size 6 and see how her empire fairs. I didn’t think making clothes for H&M, a store that prides itself on an average price point lower than Target, would fit her branding either. Anyway, Donatella said it’s not true and then immediately pulled the second release of the line from American stores. I can’t say I’m mad, the majority of that line (especially the men’s half,) is just gawd awful.
