I honestly have to thank Kanye West for introducing me to Bon Iver.  So I can’t say I’ve been down from day one.  I can say that “Lost In The World” led me to “Woods” and from there I found Blood Bank and For Emma Forever Ago.

Since the Blood Bank EP there have been rumblings of another project, but rumblings are all there have been… until now.  Bon Iver has released a brief clip of music.  No title.  No lyrics.  No explanation.  Just some simple airy atmospherics with a tranquil guitar ribboning through.  It’s less than a minute and unruffled enough to remind you of the most serene place you have ever been, but powerful enough to make you wonder where that bit of drum at the end leads.

It should be enough for fans of the group to get a little excited and actually trust that something is on its way.
