Have you ever been stuck on the side of the road with a blown out tire in the rain? Or in your own house trying to find a small screw in a dark corner under your desk, or have needed a light source at a real weird angle but needed both your hands and couldn’t hold a flashlight? JOBY has thought of you and the millions like you who drop things that roll under the bed or behind the couch or under your car. Their latest GorillaTorch Flare is the answer to all your prayers and swears.
The Flare comes equipped with red and white LED lights with strobe effects for each that function as an effective emergency signal and a powerful, compact flashlight. The white CREE LED tops out at impressive 100-lumen brightness with three different levels of intensity.
The body consists of the torch flare atop a tripod with a total of 30 points of jointed articulation each capable of 360 degrees of rotation. Each of the three legs is tipped with powerful neodymnium magnets that will cling to your car’s hood or any magnetic surface. It takes three AA batteries, not any weird denomination like many other flashlights and its certified IPX5 Water Resistant. Rain is nothing to this bad boy.
