Indiesent Exposure: Jay.Soul Reps The Netherlands Lovely

By DJ Fusion

What’s up to all of the Planet Ill crew!

It’s that time again for your weekly Indiesent Exposure installment of FREE quality music downloads & info about independent music artists of different genres who deserve serious credit for keeping things lively original in the world of music.
Indiesent Exposure is set to give your ears some temporary respite from some of the daily audio wackness, boredom and/or iCoonery that bombards the masses through the mainstream radio’s definitions of Hip-Hop, Rock, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Rock, Reggae, House, World Music and more. If you like what you hear and download up in this section, PLEASE support (monetarily and otherwise) these artists as much as you can in the future – hit up their websites, purchase some product, go to their shows, etc.

This week’s Indiesent Exposure takes us overseas to the Netherlands for some NuJazz, Soul and Deep House sounds to jump off the weekend…

Whenever you have the chance, please let all of the talented Indiesent Exposure artists and the Planet Ill crew know what you think of the music in our comments section!

Let’s get it in – download, sit back, relax & hope you enjoy the grooves:

Amsterdam’s Jay.Soul has been crafting high powered dance floor ready soundscapes in the E.U. for the past decade for various independent and major record labels.

Through his own solo releases, various collaborative projects and remixes (including official and white label joints diverse musicians such as Michael Franti & Spearhead & Nas), listeners to his music constantly get a solid dosage of lush and soulful organic grooves heavy on “4 On The Floor Beats”.
The Mr.Windmill & JaySoul EP Series deftly illustrates Jay.Soul’s flair for production that should remind listeners of the mid-to-late 1990s DJ/Producer explosion of blended NuJazz, Broken Beat, Downtempo, Hip-Hop, House and R&B works from heads such as Mark Farina, Masters At Work, Mark Clive De Lowe, Jazznova, DJ Spinna and more. Over both EPs’ combined 11 tracks of great mid-to-high tempo selections of live instrumentation, samples and vocals, Jay.Soul shows he can provide top notch work on the boards for folks to nod their heads to or get that first fun dance started off at their local lounge of choice.
Start the slow burn of relaxation to your weekend with these tracks right here…
