I have such a hard time keeping up with things these days. I found out Fabolous and Soulja Boy (the worst spellers in Hip Hop) squashed their beef before I even knew they had beef. I’m curious if SB was spitting as much aggression towards the source of his issues as he was at Fab. Then we have Axe becoming “troubled” about T.I.’s run in with the dope police. You hired a felon who just got out of prison for buying military grade weaponry and now you’re uncomfortable about some E? Umm… Okay. And what’s with that Wyclef shot at Pras? He said Pras only contributed eight bars in two Fugee albums? Naw kid, it had to be at least ten. Anyway, on with the week in beat stealing shenanigans. First up is Gucci! Brrrrrrrrr.
Mr. Mane decided to slide the “Deuces” track out from under Chris Brown say a little something about tossing up the peace sign. Gucci Mane delivers with his most believable sexy boy swag as he explains why the bish needs to get lost. At least he’s nice enough to let her keep the memories. Holla heifer.

Next up is Sean Kingston featuring Trav over the “Monster” track. Man, after listening to this I had to go back and listen to the original. I’m assuming that’s Trav who leads off, but he sounds like he’s trying to sound like Kanye. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence. Sean puts up a decent 16 near the rear and doesn’t sound half bad. Who knew Sean Kingston could flow?

Moving on we come to Wiz Khalifa who is starting to turn into a regular around these parts. He’s rockin over the “Damn It Feels Good To Be a Gangster” track. I don’t know what a Taylor is and the weed banter doesn’t interest people who don’t smoke, but there are people who believe this kid is going to be a big star. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Next we have a cover of 3 Stacks’ “Prototype.” Now I’m not interested in any violence, but I have to be honest. Jesse Boykins can actually sing. I know Andre’s personality came through every breathy manipulated note on the original, but this guy does this song some real justice, until he starts rapping. Maybe they can pair up for a collaboration.

Now we have Chiddy Bang with their rework of Cee-Lo’s “F*ck You.” Its not a cover or a fresstyle as much as it’s a remix. Xaphoon Jones fiddles with the track, turns Cee-Lo into a chipmunk and adds a few elements. Nice twist.

Last on the docket is Courtney Love, her revamped Hole and a really bad version of Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy.” I’m speechless. Just watch.
