Planet Ill Breakdown: Beanie Sigel Feat. King The Hood Savior-Haters

Beanie Sigel is back with a new tune. Is he rejuvenated and ready to hit the road running? Of course not, he’s ready to hit Jigga square in his jaw. Kanye too. Jay may have Carol’s Daughter, Bud Select and The New Jersey Nets, but Beans has some guy named King the Hood Savior and they think Jigga and Kanye are haters. Why? I don’t know.

The pair snatches the “Haters” track from Jiggas 3^rd Blueprint as if beat jacking was a sign of disrespect. Then to add insult injury they both sit and spin on Kanye’s flow from the song. I always thought imitation was the sincerest form of flattery, but what do I know.

King the Hood Savior (allegedly the most recent addition to State Property) decided he was going to pick up his new boss’ existing issues with Jay and Kanye and make them his own ala Tony Yayo. Only difference though, Yayo is a better rapper.

King says he’s the Hova of the Chi until Beans corrects him. He really meant Hoover, not Hova. (At least I’m hoping that was Beans. If this King dude is talking to himself, that adds a level of creepiness to this song I don’t wish to tackle.) Creepy or not though, that is one horrible bar. Anyway, he also claims to be the mayor of Chicago and he admitted he has to pay for the puddy. That’s a little too much information to be giving up on your introduction to the masses.

Then we move to Beans who is still proud of the fact he can walk the prison yard without being harassed.

I know you have lots of money and a beautiful wife and a career and shyt yo, but I can walk from Cell Block A to Cell Block B nucca. Can you do that?

He doesn’t really say that in the song, that’s just my interpretations of his point, which is kind of sad. No?

After that he spends the rest of the song calling Kaye West a queer in a myriad of colorful ways, while jacking his flow. Nice.

I love you Beans. Always been a fan, but this is truly the worst I’ve heard from you and you’ve been calling Kanye gay for years. We’d like another theme sir. Thanks.
