Puffy should definitely stop pulling B.I.G.’s name out of his ass every time there’s a lull in his career. It’s always been disgusting to me… kinda like how a dirty pastor evokes the name of Jesus. As far as 50 is concerned, I really respect him as a business man, but he has to grow up and realize that the silly beefs that helped propel him into fame and fortune are not what’s gonna work going forward. He’s right about Puff, but not many will take his petition seriously because of his antics. As a “strategist and tactician” he needs to head to the war room and figure out the best way to go about the next chapter of his career.
Y’all are bugging. If Puff and even Jay for that matter want to continue to speak the name and legacy of BIG more power to them. Somebody has to remind people. I remember the hiphop rags used to do a BIG tribute issue every march to celebrate BIG’s life, now they just throw jeezy on the cover like BIG never existed. Radio stations used to rep for BIG hard on March 9th too, but now only Mister Cee can be trusted to show respect. Don’t let 50 fool you, Puff has a right to speak the GOAT’s name as much as he wants to because it keeps his memory alive. It’s not like he cashes a check everytime he reps for him, he’s just showing due respect to his friend and brother.
