We lost a true titan when Teddy Pendergrass left this plane of existence for the next. Like the great Michael Jackson, such a transcendent talent is often hard to honor because it is so far ahead that it’s hard to recreate reasonably. Sometimes the only thing we can offer is an alternative take on their greatness that honors the spirit of their original creations.
