Festivals are all about celebration and the 2010 Brooklyn Hip-Hop festival was no different. The Brooklyn Bodega-run event is in its sixth year, and this year was a celebration of life, a commemoration of history and a salute to the fallen Guru, one of the greatest Brooklyn representatives.
The festival was full of community support from the minority vendors that provided a wide variety of food, to the beat boxing and break dancing family shows. As for the main event, held in the shadow of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, there was nothing but the finest Hip-Hop.
