  1. This nis a really, really good album. I’m sorry you didn’t like it. Sadly, for the most part that’s all I expect to read from “critics” about things I think are fantastic. Have fun listening to whatever you think is good.

  2. critics think they know music better than normal people but the person who wrote this clearly has a very closed mind in music terms. scared of a bit of noise.

  3. yea sorry dude you are dead wrong about this album. so far the only leak i’ve heard sounds really really rough, there are glitches and its clearly not the final mix, so i’m curious what you are listening to. but what i really love about this album is that its not only jarring but you can really feel the environment which created it, there are parts where you know that a certain beat or part was made when her and rusko were stoned out of their minds in nyc. a few songs fall flat but on the whole this album is something that’s worth talking about and worth listening to. stop being such a pussy.

  4. To be honest i really agree with you, probably would give here a 3. I am following her since day one and this album had simply too manny unfocused beats

  5. I honestly think adding the noise was great. She was bound to mix up her sound, this being M.I.A.. I guess it was either go soft or hard, because I didn’t expect the same earthy beats.

The album is incredible with “Born Free” alone. It’s the perfect mix of noise and pop, and great homage to an under appreciated band, Suicide. I hope her next album is again another leap in sound.
