We realize that all is not serious and that between saving the world or at least giving you things to think about, there’s always room for fun or flat out vegetation.  This brings us to our latest recurring feature, Couch Potato. 

Nothing derogatory, Couch Potatowill bring you previews from upcoming movie/tv events sometimes by the producers themselves, others by those gully enough to sneak into wherever they are putting these things together and getting footage to leak. Courtesy of the San Diego Comicon last week, we have the preview of impending 2010 blockbuster Iron Man 2. Marvel is pulling out all the stops with an even stronger cast of characters than the first one.  With the addition of method actor extraordinaire Don Cheadle, along with newly risen phoenix Mickey Rourke, to an already impressive Robert Downey Jr.-led ensemble, Iron Man 2 is sure to wow.

Next, we have a preview from this coming Sunday’s episode of “America’s Best Dance Crew” from the good folks at MTV. Don’t know where all the videos themselves have gone but I suppose this butters their bread these days and romance -finance = nuisance. Get the background scoop on some of the hottest dance crews behind the scenes.

Next stop, reality TV and everyone’s favorite band driver, Diddy.  This season’s show is different in that it will be an actual band, with musicians that can actually play instruments and an infusion of *gasp* actual talent.  I’m certain there’s still enough drama to satisfy the fun factor. This preview is for next Monday’s show. A hoarse woman screaming mad at her bandmates…because her voice is gone. Ignorance? Check.
