    Being Human on SyFy

Anyone watching this show? I'm a big fan of the BBC version. Haven't really latched on to the U.S. version. Any opinions?

I've heard of it being quite good (the UK version), but I don't trust anything aired by the SyFy Channel, lol.

I'm a huge fan of the UK version. I love all things supernatural and thought this was a nice twist. You always have Vampires vs Were-wolves but its interesting to have a pair that are best friends. I was sceptical regarding the SyFy remake but I am pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t have the charm of the original but its much better than I expected. They use legit special affects something the original lacked.

I just caught up on the UK version via Netflix, and I quickly became a big fan. The writing is pretty great and the characters are all well portrayed. The actress that plays the ghost is highly underrated. I watched the first three episodes of the Syfy version. They appear to be taking some of the elements of the UK version but adding in their own twists an elements. Kind of like how the US version of The Office borrowed from the UK version but then did its own thing. So far the American version hasn't pulled me in as much as the UK version but I am interested to see where they go with it.

the UK version just has way more charm. The American leads & supporting actors arent as strong, likable or have the charimsa of the UK cast. The only exception would be the actor playing Aiden. I like his potrayal vs the UK's version. The UK vamp never really comes off as threatening to me, something the US' version does relatively well. Annie & Geogre shit all over the US versions. The UK werewolf is more likable & quirker and Annie is do damn adorable. Annie is damn near unlikable. She doesnt pull off the vulnerability of Sally.

this post is proably confusing as hell for someone who doesnt watch the show.
how far along are you any Proof with the UK version. My only other complaint is that shit in the UK version can be alil too episodic

I had the first two seasons delivered from Netflix, then caught up on the current season by renting the episodes on the AppleTV. I agree, Annie and George do shit all over the US versions. I do think Mitchell has his threatening moments, like when he started to snap toward the end of season 2. He has that loose cannon vibe to him, where he can be goofy and laid back one minute, but if you say the wrong thing to him his mood will change instantaneously. I also favor Annie because she is so adorable. She has that naive mentality most of the time, but she can get gangsta when she needs to, like she did with her fiance.
