Ayelet Zurer Replaces Julia Ormond As Superman's Birth Mother In Man Of Steel!

Recent reports suggest Julia Ormond is no longer apart of Man Of Steel's cast, and Angels & Demons actress Ayelet Zurer is taking over as Superman's Kryptonian Mother.

Although in the square of filming, Deadline has revealed a last-minute cast addition for Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel reboot; or rather a replacement. The site reports that actress Julia Ormond, who was attached to play Superman's Kryptonian Mother, Lara, has been replaced with Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer.
Ayelet Zurer, the Israeli actress who starred in Angels & Demons, has been set to play the role of Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s Kryptonian mother in Man of Steel. That role was originally going to be played by Julia Ormond. I was unable to find out why director Zack Snyder made the last minute change.

I love Christian Bale's trollface LMAO that shit is classic.

Yo I know this won't come as a surprise since I always seem to shit on ms. whiter than a sheet of paper but honestly b she looks fucking dorky in that costume. Like a really bad cosplayer; LOL@ my friend saying it looks like they photoshopped a 12 year old's head onto Julie Newmar and airbrushed out her curves.

They could've at least given her a cowl considering the juxtaposition of this film series. I mean that kinda negates the "realness" since anybody could still tell who's under the domino maskl; and the heels? as anti-practical as you can get in Nolan's "realistic and practical" world.

Skinny Scarlett Johansson is shitting all over ghostface when it comes to how effective she looks in black leather. Even Gary Oldman looks like he's trying his best not to laugh in her face. Burton's Catwoman had an iconic costume while Nolan's looks like she bought her costume at Party City. I was under the impression that with more years and more advanced costuming techniques that they would at least ATTEMPT something more iconic than a bad redo of the classic 60's TV Catwoman.
