I watched Easy A. It seemed like it was Mean Girls meets Saved but I think I like both of those movies better. It wasn't bad though. I have a crush on "Big Tits" and saw her in Bandslam the same day.

I also watched Middle Men and Semi-Pro the same day and I don't know if it's the lack of sleep or what but I liked them less. I'm still not sleeping well which is why my posting is so fucking bland. I'm just so bored.

Alyson Michalka is the only reason I ever need to watch a movie I would otherwise completely ignore.

She is two reasons why I will do the same. Her lips might as well be a third. Good lawd.

    Exit Through The Gift Shop

Hoax or not, extremely interesting, funny, and thought provoking. Both a documentary on street artists and a commentary on hype and the grand ol question of what is art? If you check on YouTube the trailer for "Life Remote Control" has been on there for four years, so if this is a hoax its been in the works for longer than that. And if its not a hoax, well Banksy really went for the jugular. Either way, worth a watch even if your not into street art as it remains funny with interesting characters throughout.

The Invention Of Lying. It was sorta alright, but the romcom shit really got in the way of the sharp humor, like the whole thing the movie makes about religion being only possible in a world where people can lie. Also, while Gervais is funny he is simply not a good actor, so the scene with his mom was just embarrassing to watch. Jennifer 'Manjaw-Sailing Ears' Garner actually looked talented in comparison, and we all know she's not.

I watched that at the height of my loserdom after my ex once and for all ended it. I had just switched to night shift (and insomnia hit BAD) and watched that movie along with 500 Days of Summer and it took everything I could not to cry like a bitch with a skinned knee at some parts. I agree the movie was ruined by some of the things you mentioned though. Without the insomnia and my ex fucking a hipster computer programmer, I doubt it would have affected me much.

With this movie, I thought the first half was absolutely hilarious, but as soon as Gervais became Moses the whole thing went down the crapper and there wasn't much of a laugh for the remainder of he film. Good one half of a movie.

Yojimbo, the Kurosawa movie that Leone completely ripped off for A Fistful Of Dollars. Great direction, great cinematography, Kurosawa hasn't managed to not blow my mind away yet.

I remember being told it was ripped off and thinking it must have just been a few elements stolen with a different story over it. Nope. Ripped off. lol

    Limitless

Better than I thought it was gonna be. The film really had a "David Fincher" vibe to it, with how the cinematography was done and the music score. Bradley Cooper was good and De Niro even showed up for the 10 minutes he was in it for. The plot kept me interested throughout. Only complaint is that the ending seemed rushed and underdeveloped.
