I always feel like Vertigo books should be included in this type of section
Considering the DC thread itself isn't too lively it really doesn't matter where you post it, lol.
Anyway, The Boys is starting to get serious. As in, the end game is about to begin. Vought is fucked though because of their 82% accurate simulation, because they don't know Maeve works for The Boys nor do they know Annie is with Hughie (although she doesn't know about him being in The Boys, so there's that when she finds out). Also count in the return of Mallory and yeah, screw those odds.
Lil Depressed Boy was hilarious, Walking Dead is great as always, Invincible cant wait to see where it goes from here, MarineMan dont know where the 3rd issue is,
I can't believe nobody is talking about the latest issue of The Boys. Shit is about to go down in a major way for either The Seven or The Boys...but I get the feeling that Butcher has something up his sleeve.
Man I thought you were going on about the Vertigo line...
You're point about the 82% Accurate Simulation is interesting since I forgot about Maeve and Annie. But that's assuming they turn on the Seven during a battle and has anyone wondered if Maeve is just playing both sides.
Now, who in the fuck is Black Noir? And where does he figure into all this shit. I would be really surprised if during the anticipated battle Black Noir is someone working with The Boys but so deep undercover that Butcher was totally out of the loop. You need to figure they haven't determined how to deal with The Homelander so someone must have a plan on dealing with him.
That's a good point about Black Noir. He's bound to be more than just a mysterious masked man this whole time. And to think I really didn't dig this last issue much. It's creating good discussion and giving me something to think about.
That's because Ennis plays it subtle. He rarely puts in reminders on what the real situation is, he expects you to keep track of the stuff the characters don't account for.
So is anyone else reading those conceptualized Stan Lee writer-collaboration books? The Traveler is pretty damn good (it should be with Mark Waid and Chad Hardin), Soldier Zero with all its flaws is enjoyable and Starborn... well, Starborn is pretty much the third leg.
