I thought Secret Warriors was kind of weak this week. I guess this is setting up the final confrontation between Nick and Leviathan.

One thing that has always bothered me about the comic was Nick acting surprised that he had been working for Hydra the entire time (since Hydra had it's tentacles in S.H.I.E.L.D) yet, he knew he was playing Hydra from the get go. So why pretend? Was it just to convince his team?

I'm not sure how Hickman is going to end all this. Hydra is still out there (now split) and so is Leviathan (almost broken) I guess Nick is going to try and take out two birds with one stone.

Yes. Apparently Nick told Daisy about SHIELD being part of HYDRA to find out who the rat was. Daisy was screwing JT and he's the one that passed on the info, confirmed by the attacks on the other teams and Hydra waiting for Nick's team. Obviously JT didn't know about Sebastian being Nick's ace in the hole and getting training while he was meant to be off the team. So yeah, Nick used Daisy as a patsy to lure out JT by getting JT to supply information that would either mean utter success or utter failure, depending on how JT chose to go. As he decided to meet with Strucker and tell the plans, Nick had no choice but to let his ass fall into the abyss when they were leaving the base and Sebastian was coming in as back up.

I also have to say, Beast is a proper fucking dick. He knows the mutant population has been decimated but lets an omega level reality warper/matter animator basically go on a suicide run rather than saving his ass and dropping it off on Utopia. I'm sure the mutant community could have done with a senator on their side. Instead Beast lets dude make a cheesy speech right before his ass gets blown to pieces.

Beast Doesn't Care About Mutants. He let a mutant die on a Secrent Avengers mission, a team Steve Rogers operates. As such. Steve Rogers doesn't care about mutants and can even make mutants stop caring about mutants.

So is Steve Rogers George Bush? Was Bastion's attack on Utopia not their Katrina? Cyke knew this shit stunk from the start, that's why he tosed Aryan Posterboy's fucking medal in the San Fran Bay. He's no house mutant like Beast. He built his own house on a fucking asteroid, that's how real mutants roll, they handle theirs and look out for their own. They don't send little notes trying to get others to go play nice with Mr Government and abandon their own people.
