Well fuck, this movie was a huge pile of dog shit. To copy/paste my MAL post:

This movie was terrible. The biggest problem is the rushed pace which I feel will probably make the movie fail to involve an audience that isn't already familiar with Berserk. Important plot points are rushed over and there's not a second spend on character development. Storywise it's simply a jarred mess of thrown together parts that is only recognizable to the fans.

Animation wise it's not much better. Character design is ugly and the less we talk about the CGI, the better. Let me just say the last time I've seen animation so jaggy and choppy, I was playing a videogame on Windows 95. Also, what was up with Casca? First time they showed her, her skin was white, then her skin tone and face turned Chinese, then she was sorta a light skinned black woman and then she kept changing between white and Chinese for the rest of the movie.

Last but not least the voice acting sucked royally, with the exception of Sakurai Takahiro as Griffith. Guts sounded like a weakling and nobody else stood out in any considerable way.

Altogether this is easily one of the most pointless movies I've ever seen, and a terrible waste of time.
And this is me using 'respectable' language because it's for MAL. I could tear this horrible piece of shit apart over and over again, but honestly it's not worth it, with its short bus riding looking characters, pussified voice acting and rushed "story".

I like the series and because of that I see no reason for this movie to exist. It does everything the series did but worse.

So Books, anything to say about the endings of Tsuritama, Sakimichi No Apollon and Lupin III? lol

I'm behind on Lupin episodes. Sakamichi was rushed with that 8 year skip, lacking closure. Sen never explained himself for leaving and nothing on what happened between Kaoru and Ritsuko. Tsuritama wrapped up things nicely, Urara and Haru joining the class at the end was a nice touch.

Nazo no Kanojo X was actually my favourite show this season, by far. Only anime that never made me feel bored, had good character interaction and the ending leads nicely into a second season.

Seriously? Nazo No Kanojo X was only watchable because it was impossible to look away from the madness going on in there. It didn't even have good character interaction, just a very weak conflict that was always resolved by tasting the magical feelings-transferring drool so they suddenly understand each other better. That's literally every fucking episode!

Tsuritama was a far better show with great characters, great humor and actual character interaction. My favorite of this season is still Shirokuma Café however and like I wrote on your MAL page the other day, by not watching it you've missed out on the best anime episode I've seen in quite a while. It's the kind of episode that made me want to instantly rate the show a 10 because it was just so damn amazing.

I never compared NKX to Tsuritama, so *shrug*

First episode wasn't anything special, so I doubt I missed out on that much.

You say it was your favorite (or 'favourite') show "by far" though, implying that you liked it a lot better. And Shirokuma has made tremendous steps forward. It's not super consistent in its quality but as I said, the last episode and maybe the last five minutes of the episode before is some of the most wonderful stuff I've seen in a while.

Also, it still is a show where a lazy Panda works at a zoo as a Panda and hangs out in a café run by a Polar Bear, so not watching it means missing out on awesomeness by default.

Yes, I do like to spell favourite correctly, Doom. I did like NKX much more than Tsuritama, it was more entertaining whereas Tsuritama was boring at times. But, I never compared them directly and said one had better this and that than the other.
