I just realized that out of all the superhero movies coming out next year, I'm actually the most excited about this one. I guess it has to do with the lack of the "look at how fucking special we are" attitude that every other superhero movie is applying to itself.

Didn't really see the first; just bits and pieces on TBS and it was enough to never bother with it all. This one well it definitely does NOT look like the GR movie that we deserve to see made at all. However it does look like it will be great pulpy b-movie funk like the Crank dualogy and sometimes that's all that's needed.
It already looks superior to the first based on the geography & scale of the of the action; I mean it's easy to follow but still actually true to GR and not bullshit like riding up a skyscraper.The dialogue will be shit & the kid and mom's acting will stink up the place. Cage's mega acting, C. "Lamburr" as a crazy monk and the wacky yet gritty over the top action set pieces will make up for it though.
