At least it looks like there's genuine weight and physics applying to Spidey's swings and jumps. Still, the mere fact they've completely pushed away the fact this is a origin re-telling since the first trailer got laughed out of the theaters might be enough to blind some fools from the truth, but outside of my little glimmer of faith in Marc Webb's talents, I'm still very wary of this movie.
Plus Uncle Ben is still alive. I don't even get how that works out. Does this mean Peter is simply noble enough to become a hero on his own, or is he pulled into the hero shtick while researching his parents/origins? Because honestly, Spider-Man's origin is like the second best origin in superhero mythology and to fuck with it is just blatantly stupid.
