I'm still not convinced. Notice how this time around they completely shied away from the fact they're clearly going to retell the origin. Besides that, and this still bothers me the most, the tone is still so incredibly off. Watch that first scene again with him dropping in by Gwen's window. Dude acts like an unsettling stalker, not goofy, shy, loveable Peter Parker. Then there's all that other 'oh, this movie is so dark and serious' stuff that just doesn't feel like Spidey at all.
They really can't fucking help themselves with the unmasking and identity reveals. This shit irritates me so fucking much. EVERY FUCKING superhero movie hasn't them being unmasked and someone figuring out their secret.
And then these stupid fucking studios get mad when a specific actors is closely identified with the character and wants a better contract.....Keep the fucking masks on.
Near the end of the new trailer, you can make out the faint words “Mark of the Spider-Man”. If you go to the address markofthespider-man.com, you're taken to a website with The Amazing Spider-Man logo and six screens filled with static.

I just watched it again and........why the fuck does the suit light up?
I'm not really sold on this. I can't even tell you what exactly is the problem, other than there just seems like no need and reason for this film to exist. The trailer seems overly serious for a Spidey flick too. I dunno, this one ain't clicking with me.
The trailer seems overly serious, but as we all know, trailers lie. The Trailers for Green Lantern made that film seem like it was gonna be a bullshit action comedy film, but the overall tone was nothing like that.
Well, they hit the bullshit part spot-on.
