Broddie really needs to apologize for all that shit talking he did about how they'd never be stupid enough to redo the origin and just use flashbacks, lol.
Meh, can't even blame Broddie when the film crew has been blatantly lying saying it's not a reboot but another chapter. I think this'll be better than the Raimi movies also.
I just hope the left the comedic elements of Spidey intact and that it's not that hokey bullshit Raimi did.
i think it looks good...the POV scene is just for the tariler that's why it looks like that...it's made for the trailer itlll be more polished for the screen...i like the tone so far even tho it's kinda 'dark' which is "well unno" to me..i hope they keep his sense of humor
I'm not convinced yet of this trailer alone, in particularly because it seems to take itself way too serious. I understand some people might think that's a good thing after Raimi's more slapstick style, but I won't be convinced this will be better until I know for certain we're getting a Spidey who doesn't stop dropping banter during fights.
Yeah my faith is much more based on the potential it has and the good crew involved. It's not based on this trailer. I actually don't like this trailer. Like you guys have pointed out I think the tone of it seems off for Spider-Man. Even though it's pretty much the same tone we saw in the first arc of Ultimate Spidey tbh.
However I also understand they're trying to market this as a "Nolan-esque" approach to the material. This is in order to show audiences that it's a different animal from the previous movies. I get that. So I'm not waxing poetic too much about it cause of that.
Rest assured though if we get another sulking Spider-Man/Peter Parker who seriously lacks witty banter and obnoxious to his villains traits then I will shit on this movie to high heaven.
Garfield quite simply does not come off as a witty shit talker, and that trailer was way too depressing for Spider-Man. Sheen as Uncle Ben and 'The Asshole' as Gwens dad was definitely cool though.
