One, this would be awesome. Two, you could use it as a platform to test out some of your characters that are not mainstream.

And it would RULE to have a Punisher show. It would be relatively low budget as your CG/Special Effects budget would be fairly mundane (guns and fight choreography are easy compared to alien invasions). Put it on HBO or Showtime with Tom Jane doing the shit he did in that short. If they could hire the dude who wrote Man On Fire and Garth Ennis to act as the head writers and this shit could be great. (Personally I think Punisher could lend better to TV than a movie anyway)

First picture of Arnold in The Last Stand, the Hollywood debut of Korean director Jee-woon Kim (A Bittersweet Life, I Saw The Devil).

Schwarzenegger stars as Sheriff Owens, a man who has resigned himself to a life of fighting what little crime takes place in sleepy border town Sommerton Junction after leaving his LAPD post following a bungled operation that left him wrecked with failure and defeat after his partner was crippled. After a spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy, the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin in the hemisphere is hurtling toward the border at 200 mph in a specially outfitted car with a hostage and a fierce army of gang members. He is headed, it turns out, straight for Summerton Junction, where the whole of the U.S. law enforcement will have their last opportunity to make a stand and intercept him before he slips across the border forever. At first reluctant to become involved, and then counted out because of the perceived ineptitude of his small town force, Owens ultimately accepts responsibility for one of the most daring face offs in cinema history.

This, Spring Breakers and Only God Forgives pretty much make up my movies-I-need-in-my-life-right-now list.

Nah, I need to sign up on Amazon Studios already. These screenplay competitions ain't really doing it for me anymore. Either way I need to start writing again though. Currently I've got this idea which I call Blood We Shed.

Blood We Shed is about an Irish-American army veteran (the Bear) who runs a pawn shop by day and a bar by night. From a widow he buys some stuff that belonged to her husband. Her deceased husband however was a former IRA member who amongst his possessions was hiding evidence of IRA assassinations, and when word makes it across the pond that he has died, an aging IRA veteran (the Wolf) sends a man to retrieve the evidence. He tries to rob the veteran but fails, which causes the Wolf to come to America and confront the Bear himself, the battle between these two ancient warriors igniting into an explosion of violence.

Also, at some point they'll both pray this same poem:

For our country, the blood we shed
That we give our enemy the cruelest of deaths
And if the day comes that our own lives are taken
That in Hell we be for the devil mistaken

Time isn't the issue. Focus is. I have a bazillion ideas and I can't fucking concentrate on one of them. Blood We Shed is close though.

But so is Rise Of Komodo, my idea that chronicles the life of a college student who gets recruited by a Spectre/Hydra type organization out for world domination, and it basically follows his rise in the organization which step by step explains how people join these organizations, how the logistics work out, how they fight their secret war and how such an organization could operate without being found out by the public in the first place. So yeah, I haven't really lost any of my ambitions yet.

    Yes. lol

Although E2S will argue that the double ended dildo scene from Requiem for a Dream is the best scene ever.

Aronofsky is the GOAT pervert director. He knows that 'making arthouse' is just a fancy excuse to make famous actresses get down and dirty. I tried to explain this to a friend who wouldn't believe me until I showed him this picture and asked him if this looks like a guy who isn't obviously adding sex shit to his 'arthouse' because he can get away with it.

    The discussion ended there, lol.

Anyway, that clip of Hard Ticket To Hawaii has made me decide to check out the work of Andy Sidaris. I'd heard of his legacy but I thought he was just making generic B-movies, not self-conscious movies featuring Playmates getting naked for no reason and ridiculous humor. Now I'm honestly surprised I've never heard you rave about the man before. Apparently he also invented the shot at sport events where the camera focuses on hot girls in the public for no other reason than that they're hot girls. What a legend!
