Miami will win the NBA championship this year and...

...Lebron stans will act as if it didn't take him eight years in the league, dozens of coaches and other staff fired at his behest, and joining a team with two other super-players to finally get a ring.

Black people will set the streets of Miami on fire literally and as usual, no socio-psychological explanation will be available for this ridiculous behavior.

Rick Ross will die of cardiac arrest and his epitaph will read "I did not die, that's a rumor the internet made up."

At least half the world will remind Lebron and his stans what it took for him to get a ring. I doubt it'll be enough, but still.

Since about 2004, any form of criticism, no matter how accurate, is official "Hating" according to every segment of black culture.

MIA too apatheic to set anything on fire.

whats really scary is that if they win I title this year the potential dominance they can have over the next 4-5 years. NBA is at its best when there are 3-5 legitmate title contenders every year (especially one of em are the Lakers, Boston & NY)

either I wasnt clear enough or you misread what I wrote.
I meant the league would be better served IF the Knicks were in the hunt.

    You must listen to Cowherd.

I agree with you though. Better competition, especially from the big market teams, makes for a better sport.

The NBA NEEDS the Knicks back in the mix. This year was a start, but NY as a whole is still all about baseball and football. However, the town has never ignored a 50 win Knicks team.

yeah big Herd fan and Knicks fan as well. This year showed how thirsty fans are for a winner and how popular basketball is in NY.

football is the only sport that transcends large markets. We just the highest rated superbowl with a team from Greenbay, Wisconsin & Pittsburgh

This is true. Shit could be the Titans vs. Cardinals and the ratings would still be through the roof.
