That's a great roster of talent. Stan Lee hasn't come out with a compelling concept or story idea in over 30 yrs. though. To read something plotted by him would be quite the task for me. So I can't say that I ever see myself ever reading that shit.

Well, I don't know exactly how much he plots it but it's really comparable to JMS' Superman/Wonder Woman in the sense that the actual writers have a lot of room to do their own thing.
In that case I may give it a look. Lord knows I need something new that's good from Waid as Irredeemable and it's spin off while off to a promising good start eventually fell off.
Glad you liked it. I don't know how I missed it as it was coming out. I'm a fan of Aaron's as well. lol
And I read the old Xombi series last night and just got caught up on the new one. Holy shit I'm in love with this book. It's crazy how much different the art is in the new series (the old art reminded me a bit of Mandrake or Aparo on Spectre) but I love it. From the nutty supporting cast to the crazy artifacts they use as weapons to the enemies they face - this book just flat out fucking rules and I'm almost glad I didn't read the first series as it was coming out so I would have to wait so long for this new series. I'm going to start buying this shit immediately.
Does anybody read any of those touchy feely, independent comics outside of stuff like The Boys? Amazon keeps recommending Blankets to me.

^^^ lol at amazon recommending that to you. It sounds like more of a novel or nicholas sparks movie after reading the description. Are you going to check it out, I generally don't go for something so touchy feely unless it involves some sort of distopian future....or robots. I freaking love robots lol
give this a try.

Holy shit @ the names attached to that.
edit: I was wondering how I missed it with who did it and saw it was made in 2006. Props. I'm gonna have to check this out.
