So after seeing lots of praise for Killer Mike's R.A.P. Music from all directions on many different spots, I decided to check this out and shit, the E-streets ain't lying. El-P laced Mike with some hard-ass beats and Mike murders the joints like Bun B or Ice Cube in their prime. But that's the thing, El-P's beats here are freakin' unkillable. And yet Mike delivers murderous verses on each of them. The result is a paradox of unheralded dopeness. Universes collapse within the boundaries of this album. Suns die and reignite like star phoenixes on this shit. Motherfuckers be clinging on to tachyons and time traveling because of what's going on here. The impossible is real, b.

Sigur Ros new album Valtari is out. It is very atmospheric like a lot of their work but more of a pop tinge so it might be a little more accessible (I say more accessible despite the fact its not in English and the average song length is like 7 minutes lol). Good shit to put the Beats on to and just fade out like your in a Spirted Away dreamworld lol.

Also, Canadian rock group Japandroids have released their sophomore album and it is really fun and rockin. Really fun, fast-paced, noise-indie rock. Worth checking out if your into that shit.

Fuck you and your soft-ass Indie Rock recommendations every day, Ty. And don't you fucking dare call something "Noise" just because one of those hipster-douches found out you can set the volume higher than 3. If you want some proper independent Noise stuff you need to check out these guys.

Because real men discover good music from bad-ass shit like Max Payne 3, not the bowels of Pitchfork & associates.

Listened to both tracks. I'm really liking the backing tracks and instrumentation, but the vocals leave a lot to be desired. You always diss the music I post, but these are pretty soft vocals. Its the kind of vocals in which they turn the vocals down so low that the backing track overpowers them. I'll say the same thing about HEALTH as I say about Bon Iver, I would totally check out an instrumental album by em.

The Smashing Pumpkins new album "Oceania" is streaming in its entirety on iTunes. Listening now. (GASP!) It's actually quite solid so far. Not as hard as Zeitgeist, much more melodic and softer, like the stuff on the American Gothic EP or on the 2nd Teargarden EP. Probably a good mix for SP to keep going at at this age.

I always diss the music you post because it's molten butter soft. And Oceania? That shit dropped out of nowhere, lol.

Yup, it's the sound of Danger Mouse once more. The album is Mondo by Electric Guest and Danger Mouse produced the fuck out of it like only he can.
