Thoughts on volume 1
Very enjoyable and interesting start. I like Fran's design and her personality is great. The way she doesn't really comprehend the people's feelings and does what she believes is helping those she treats, even though that's not the case gives the manga some nice humour.

My favourite chapters were 1, 2 and 4. Thinking the Father geniunely loves his son when he only wants him resurrected for personal means and then linking their brains so they can be literally be together was funny.
The caterpillar body in 2 was crazy. That poor guy teaching her how to crawl and shit so she can go back to her old body, only to get pwned in the end. Excellent!
Fran was just handing out surgeries everywhere in 4, some of those school kids got some crazy work done! The genital switch for that couple was genius, lmao. Full of WTF!

Chapter one was good. The plot's how I remember it. Her eyeballs falling into the tea was funny.

Also, what she did with the son was creepy as shit.

Fran is the doctor that makes a couple things better, and a shitload of things worse.

Chapter 3 was sweet. It was a surprising twist to find out what was up with all those limbs. And the policewoman walking in with the chunk of limbs was hilarious lol.

You know, with all the crazy stuff going on in this book, I expected that whole bit about the food. It was okay.

If it was supposed to be a double suicide on some Romeo and Juliet shit, why would you be stabbing her to guts out?

One thing I've failed to mention about this manga: the art is very clean. I really mean it. The thick lines for the simpler faces and usage of contrast makes the work very clear and readable. And, I like the fact that the artist actually draws out the backgrounds most of the time instead of taking the easy way out on most of the panels and just using tones.

Finished volume 3. I love Veronica, her shyness is cute. The movie chapter with Nastasia was funny when you see that image of Fran inside her body, the expression on her face was ace.

The extra chapter about Adorea was cool, the back and forth organ switching between her and B was great. He got pwned in the end :rofl3:

I finished the first three chapters and I'm loving this. Every. Single. Page. Of. It. The brain removal scene from the first chapter and the caterpillar-girl from the second chapter were awesome, and I just love the morbidly ironic black comedy of it all.

Finished the first volume. Not as strong as the opening chapters overall but I did like the cosmetic surgery one at the school.

Finished Vol. 2. Loved the body double mob war chapter and the one with the girl being duplicated so she could be with both boys. The continuation of that chapter with the police chick was good too. I also love those short random two-page stories at the end of each volume, great stuff. And I didn't mention it in my previous posts but the art on this is absolutely fantastic and paired with the ridiculous gore simply a gift that keeps on giving.

Vol. 3 was awesome. I loved the story about the oversexed high schoolers who get drained by that pheromone plant, causing all the girls to get angry. The story after it with the movie actress dying of her blood disease only to have the entire movie crew catch it by raping her deceased body was morbidly hilarious, and the story with the suicidal kid getting put into the giant mascot's body that ended with him becoming the girl's father and the pedo father becoming a mascot at the amusement park was the best ending so far. I also like how the supporting cast is slowly growing with Veronica and Adorea on top of Kuhou and Akito.

Just finished the Flying Spaghetti Monster chapter, it was totally awesome. I nearly forgot He appeared in this but the second I read "F.S.M. cult" I remembered.

"We're tired of melons." = Best line in Franken Fran so far, from Chapter 31. The rebirth of superhero Sentinel and his new fight against the evil that will destroy the world was hilarious.

Cuz you can relate to it? lol. Good volume overall, my favourite chapter was Two Dimensions. Those hormones really messed her up at the end.

Fuck you, lol. The two dimensions story is also a favorite of mine, I love how it was a bit of satire on how ridiculous body proportionates are in manga/anime.

Don't diss the big eyed look! The ending of the Kannon chapter was funny. Money really doesn't buy a womans heart, lol.

The big girl was a slore, lol. I just caught up to issue 50 btw. A tad disappointed in some of the chapters, the endings seem abrupt and no longer as well thought out as normally. Hopefully it's just a phase, although there's some genius moments in there. Also, you'll soon be introduced to another regular character, dun-dun-dunnnn!

Two new chapters, yeah! Fucking awesome chapters too, one has some of the freakiest imagery in FF in a while, and in the other chapter we finally get FF's take on (incestuous) tentacle porn, lol.
