RIP Joe Simon

Joe Simon passed away yesterday. He was 98. I'm glad he was able to stick around long enough to see them bring back Cap after his death. Fucking Brubaker. Soulless bastard. Anyways, RIP to man that created an icon.

lol @ the random inclusion of "Fuck Brubaker". But Jerry Robinson died like two weeks ago so you have to wonder who's next (they always go in three's, right?).

Yeah, I'd be ok with just these two for now. Joker is obviously an icon as well. And the Brubaker thing - I just remember Cap died and reading about Simon holding a vigil for the character and realizing how old he was. I was seriously hoping he would be brought back before Simon passed on. I was already against the death and that was just one more thing.

Yeah was going to say that. That makes 3. I will say it's fucked up to see this all happen so recently after Robinson. I hope whoever was born in their place graces the world with great talent like Robinson, Simon and Barreto did but it sucks that Simon didn't get to 100. I really wanted him to.
