things..... are looking up. I'm not saying that I promise to watch these, it's just nice to feel some kind of excitement for a new series. Hell, I haven't even watched Kaiji this season. Prolly because I finished the manga.


1. Guilty Crown hold the promise and heritage to be EPIC.... which means it will prolly not be. Code Geass' writers+Death Note's director? It's prolly gonna be cheesy and over the top. Which means I might like it.

3. I'm gonna wait until I see some reviews of Mirai Nikki before I even attempt to watch an ep. If it has the same feel as the manga, it's not gonna pick up til middle of the second arc, anyway....

5. Fate/ZERO, so I can finally watch fate stay night. lmao

6. OMG Persona 4. This anime better have the greatest soundtrack in the history of anime.

Tetsurou Araki is just terrible. He did fine with Death Note but Highschool of the Dead was shit and he made the worst arc of Aoi Bungaku by far. I have no faith in him.

Fate/Stay Night was average, here's to hoping Fate/Zero doesn't suffer that same fate.

Persona 4 has some very tough competition to beat if it wants that title.

Probably Aria, although I know he's a sucker for some other stuff as well.

Btw, Guilty Crown sounds way too much like just a Code Geass rehash. I might just check it to see how poorly every character pronounces the term 'Ability of King', lmao.

what about you, Doom?

I think the last OST I listened to and thoroughly enjoyed was the Big O OST. lol Just epic Imperial Stormtrooper sounding orchestra pieces, with a spattering of jazz here and there.

Hard to say. As Doom mentioned, Aria is one of my favourites. Others would be Windy Tales, Mushishi, Bartender and Kaiba. I've heard plenty of more great ones though.

Not sure yet. I've barely decided what to check of the summer season, lol. I'll probably continue to watch Bakuman even if the first season was rather cliché and predictable.

I'm unsure about Bakuman. This season probably will be better since they're much closer to their dream, but it could just as well be more of the same.

Nah just nothing stood out to me on the list. Same as the summer line up I didn't really see anything that caught my eye.

Well, this is only an initial list, more will come later. Though, I think the season looks quite good so far.

Well Phi Brain and Tamayura -Hitotose- are both being directed by Sato Junichi (my favourite director) Un-Go has no description yet, but it's directed by Mizushima Seiji, who did the original FMA and Hanamaru Kindergarten, both of which I liked. He also did Oh! Edo Rocket, while I haven't seen that yet, I've heard many good things about it.

Chihayafuru sounds interesting, plus the picture catches my interest. Never played the Persona games, but I'm slightly tempted to try the anime, though it's directed by Kishi Seiji who did Angel Beats, so I'm not sure. Dunno whether I wanna watch c3 or not, but you might want to, since Onuma Shin (directed Baka to test) is doing it.

I'm also gonna watch Fate/Zero just because I've seen Fate/Stay Night and want to see if it is better or not.

That's cool I need to find something too watch because my too watch list is non-exsistant. As of late if I see such and such is a normal high school student in the description i normally just skip it which is about 80- 90 percent of what's out . I'm really burned out on those shows right now.

Sounds like you need to look around for some already completed shows. So many incredible anime have been released this past decade, you have so much to choose from, as long as you keep your options open on what you're willing to try.

Yeah I don't mind the completed shows much but I would like too watch something that's current as well. The most current show I'm following is Blue Exorcist and that has a high school student in too lol . I'll just wait on the completed fall list and probably atleast try following something.

See, that's the kind of shit I don't know until the show actually comes out and I check who's making it, because I can never be bothered to sit down and look up every anime on that list for the people involved. *adds those shows to the watch list*

And I might check out that Persona anime as well, just because the games seem to be very popular.

I'm gonna call it now, Chihayafuru will be the anime of the season. Production by Madhouse AND direction by Asaka Morio, that's just too much goddamn win!! I'm so happy right now :happy:

I can't remember the last good anime produced by Madhouse though. It seems they've been slacking lately, especially with them wack-ass Marvel adaptations.

It's really too bad that you haven't seen any work by the master Asaka Morio, if you had I know you'd also be excited for Chihayafuru.
