There are origin stories that are either lame or just not original for characters. These or heroes, villains, ones you like, ones you don't like. Who do you think has the worst origin?
I'm going with Wally West.
It’s basically Barry's origin. Chemicals; lighting; superspeed...

The Whizzer
Also happens to have one of the most unfortunate names in history.
I always felt Venom's origin was pretty stupid.

Guts from Berserk
In an incedibly unusual and grotesque way of coming into this world, Guts was released from his mother's womb sometime after she was hung from the Hanging Tree. Somehow surviving the fall without any physical damage done to his body (possibly comferted by the pool of blood beneath her body), Guts lay apparently dead until a local mercenary party led by Gambino arrived at the scene to discover the child. Gambino's lover Shisu (having previously lost her own child) quickly scoops up the newborn infant into her arms and cradles him to life, surprising everyone around. Of course, several of the partymembers make observations of a possible curse that would fall upon them for taking this forsaken child...which soon enough becomes a reality with Shisu's death at the hand of a terrible disease and ultimately Gambino's own undoing when he becomes crippled during battlel, never able to weild a sword again.
Because of the event of how Guts was born, this event foreshadows his entire life...stained in blood, with many disturbing things to come his way. It could be that he was also born from such an unusual "death" that his desire to kill others in combat can be traced here.
