Transmet is one of the GOAT comics. It's in my top 5. I read the entire run every 4 years during election time.

Yeah, Transmetropolitan's a great book. Easily my favorite out of all the Ellis books I've read.

Surprising post especially since you were pursuing journalism. You know when people on the more geeky (read: knowledgeable) comic boards harp on about DC having the best publishing track record of any comic book company? Transmetropolitan is one of the many reasons why. Spider Jerusalem is the GOAT. Between this and Planetary Ellis cemented his legend for the rest of his existence regardless of the shifting quality of some of his later works. You need to read this as soon as yesterday.

i had no idea it was about a hunter s thompson-like journalist. im dling the whole series as i type this.
