first ep is up. I almost missed it due to the japanese "Gambling Apocalypse" they threw in the front of it. Well, that's what it MIGHT say. I don't speak Japanese. Who do I look like, Books?

anyway, first ep is up. I don't have time to watch it AND drop my thoughts. I'm already deciding to watch this instead of doing my job. Time constraints.

lmao it's okay, Kaiji. He had been down there for a whole month eating 3 sardines and radishes every day. When you see n*ggas in jail smoking cigarettes, drinking beer and eating hamburgers and Marie Collander tv dinners while you've been in there forcing yourself to eat those damn balogna sandwiches and green peas every day... that shit will break you. lol

I knew what as going down as SOON as the foreman came over. And honestly, I felt kind of bad.

Still, it's started off small and unassuming, like every Kaiji season so far. I can only hope for big things. The gambling has started.

I think the zawa zawa had multiple sounds in the ep, one sounded quite like the original.

what got me was after everything he had been through in the last three seasons, he saw Endou and the first thing he does instead of running is go up and say "Heeeyyy, Endou! Let's get this money!!"

2nd episode was great, the music really helps create a suspenseful atmosphere. Kaiji thought he was smart betting high against the nervous Miyoshi, that sure bit him in the ass, lol.

And the music and sound effects.... wow, man. Even the different zawas. It's all so tense and atmospheric. the dice clicking in the bowl....
