Since everybody's always talking about how wrestling sucks nowadays (I'm not sure if people actually do, I just assume it because most people tend to complain how things suck these days) so what was the last time (or times) that wrestling felt epic again like in the heydays? Educate a guy.

alot of us came up or rediscovered our love of wrestling during the Attitude/NWO era. There is no way anything can top that period, but I think its more due to ppl simply maturing & outgrowing it to a degree. If I were 8-13 I'd proably be the biggest John Cena stan. But I'm too old to be a diehard wrestling fan...leaves thread to download comic books.

people romanticize the attitude era

yall forgot mae young had sex with mark henry and gave birth to a plastic hand (this was because they signed henry to a huge deal but then wanted him to quit because he's not that great)

So what was the last time you felt wrestling was as great as you used to remember/think it was? Any specific moments/fights (and videos) are preferred.

Around Wrestlemania every year or so this happens actually. The first match (and second match - but first especially) of Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania was fucking awesome. From the entrances to the finish. Just fucking great.

I don't remember ever being as excited about a wrestling match as I was for Wrestlemania 6, Hulk Hogan Vs Ultimate Warrior. I almost cried tears of joy when Warrior took the title fair and square. I never really liked Hogan until he became the leader of the nWo. The man couldn't wrestle to save his life, yet he would always win by throwing a couple of punches followed by a body slam then a leg drop.

If you don't have Chris Jericho in your top 10 GOAT list, you lost. Dude's career has had more unexpected highs than any wrestler ever. Ever.

I mean, you could always tell when certain wrestlers were getting a title/main event push. With Jericho, that shit just seemed to.... happen. And you NEVER knew how far that push would go. lol
