I Am Many: Attack Of The Machines

IAmMany
By Odeisel

At any given day you can turn your radio on and hear all kinds of wild shit related to Hip-Hop and what passes for R&B. You can get on the highway and go from city to city and the playlist will be the same for the most part. Hell, I pay for SiriusXm and the playlist is STILL the same. And when it isn’t the same, it’s an old school station that, despite having an arsenal of decades of music to play…still play the same old shit.

So you look to the internet and college radio and all other sources that aren’t sucking dick or taking money for spins to see what’s out there. Not to say that everyone we never heard of is dope, but at the very least you should have the opportunity to hate on as many acts as you want.  One artist that you’ve probably never heard of that is challenging as hell is a guy called I Am Many.

It always feels like we’re introducing him to you guys for the first time, and I’ll bet my bottom dollar that you will probably never hear this guy on Hot 97, but he’s just an exciting rapper if you like to sit there and break stuff down.

For many of us, music is escapism and after going to a shitty or stressful job, the last thing you want to hear is the oncoming apocalypse driven by the oligarchy to crush the 99% and all that, but in those rare moments when you’re tired of regular dude rap, give this song a listen. It’s relentless, there are bars for days, he sticks to his concept and it’s common sense knowledge that isn’t overwhelming or outlandish. Attack of the Machines. I Am Many. Thank us later. We now return you to your regularly scheduled 2 Chainz song.
