Lux Life: Grace Digital’s GDOCK For Samsung Galaxy S & Note

Samsung has been kicking ass and taking names in the Android cellphone game. The Galaxy S II kicked in the door waving the .44, the Galaxy S III cemented the big dog status and the Note 2 just flat-out started its own class. One of the few things it does lack in comparison to the iPhone, however, is the number of peripherals that cater to it.

Enter the Grace Digital GDock charging dock and speaker specifically designed for the Galaxy S II & III and the Note 1 & II. Its chameleon status is secured by its all-black aesthetic and its angular shape. It comes with a remote control, a desktop power adapter and an audio in for those other devices that may have Galaxy envy. The charging cradle is interchangeable to house each particular model above, and allows for both horizontal and vertical viewing.Grace-Digital-gDock-2

I tried out the model and while the volume won’t do for a PARTY party, the sound was crisp and the volume was perfect for a house party/get together with a music level high enough to drown out any embarrassing drunken things you may be whispering in the ear of a disinterested co-ed. The speakers pump out 16 watts of sound, which is about as high as you can go in apartments before your sucker neighbors start making noise pollution complaints.

The GDock retails for around $130 and can be bought HERE. Below are the physical characteristics and the tale of the tape. You could probably buy an entire system for that price, but it would probably have a port designed specifically of an iPod. You’re much cooler than that, aren’t you? You’re welcome.
